BOURDELLE NECKLACE (Three)

$165.00

These special pieces were inspired by our visit to the Bourdelle Museum, formerly the studio of late 19th-century sculptor Antoine Bourdelle. We loved every aspect of the museum — the gardens, the flow between spaces, and dedicated rooms that took us back in time to the early 20th century. We found a facsimile of a family photo album and were drawn to the costumes and jewelry the girls were dressed in. When we went to the flea, we were blown away to find some pieces from the era we had just immersed ourselves in.

We decided to keep this piece exactly as we found it — with ivory-colored vintage lucite (plastic) beads that are strung on cotton cord. The screw clasp is so cool. This is a one-of-a-kind piece that we see pairing beautifully with jeans/t-shirt days or a special night out…
