For this collection, we used mini clevis bolts to secure our vintage/antique treasures for a new twist on how we wear our saint medals and combos.
The bolt itself measures 20 mm (length) x 15 mm (width); about the size of a nickel.
This petite vintage combo incorporates the smaller round medal with an oval shaped medal. The oval medal is the same length as the bolt, which is about the size of a nickel.
Front of round medal:
Image of Virgin Mary
Back:
Vision of Saint Bernadette in the grottoes at Lourdes, France. St. Bernadette had a total of 18 visions of the Virgin Mary in the grottoes at Lourdes. Since then, the site has been considered a holy place where followers go to swim in the waters. Lourdes is still an extremely popular pilgrimage destination. Travelers from all over the world make the journey every year seeking health and healing.
Front of oval medal:
St. Germain, a 16th-century French saint from Toulouse, France. Germain is widely regarded as the patron saint of disabled and underprivileged peoples.
Back:
Inscription: Ste Germaine de Pibrac
